Dear Silkeborg IF Ambassadors
SIF’s ambassador corps is expanded. Four former world champions in dance have agreed to become part of the corps, which thus has 112 personalities.
Bo and Helle Loft Jensen, who became world champions in 10 dances in 1994, today run the dance institute Loft Jensen Dans on Mørksøvej in Virklund. The dance school was founded way back in 1989 when the couple lived in London. In 2001 they moved to Silkeborg, and since 2003 Loft Jensen Dans has been based in Virklund.
Ashli Williamson and Bjørn Bitsch ended a 17-year career in November 2019 with their 10th World Championship. Thus, the pair became the most winning ever in professional dance. Ashli Williamson and Bjørn Bitsch have been living near Karup for the past six years after a number of years in Silkeborg, and today they run the dance institute Just Dance with locations in Hammel, Hadsten and Århus. They are also international dance judges.
